How the Process Works

Intro Phone Call

You’ll fill out an inquiry form and have a brief phone call with a member of our team. If it feels like a good fit, you’ll schedule your comprehensive intake.

Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll fill out a questionnaire and screeening tools to send back to your psychiatrist ahead of your appointment so they can prepare.

Comprehensive Intake

Comprehensive Intake

During the first visit, you can expect an initial assessment that includes a detailed discussion of your mental health history, symptoms, and any previous treatments. The psychiatrist may ask questions about your medical history, personal life, family, and social environment to gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation. This session aims to establish a diagnosis and begin developing a tailored treatment plan, which might include laboratory and psychopharm genetic testing, medications, psychotherapy, and recommendations on lifestyle, nutrition, and mind-body practices.  Additionally, it provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and express any concerns you might have, ensuring a mutual understanding of the goals and expectations for your treatment.

Follow Up Sessions

During your follow-up visits, the focus is on monitoring your progress, discussing the effectiveness of any treatments or medications prescribed, and making necessary adjustments. These sessions also provide a chance to explore ongoing issues or new concerns, and to refine your treatment plan as needed. Additionally, these visits can include supportive therapy, coping strategies, and further education.

Follow Up Sessions
